I was walking the streets of Reykjavik on a Friday night when, like fairies in the dark, these five Icelandic locals insisted that I follow them to a house party. At the party, we talked about the country’s female lesbian prime minister, they told me the meaning of their beautiful names followed by some Icelandic jokes that weren’t really that funny.
Frank living life in Iceland. I highly recommend you do the same.

Frank is currently traveling through Europe taking photos for an upcoming exciting project.
Over Christmas I revisited a small town in Denmark where I grew up called Vorupoer. Growing up there, I always loved walking through the most magical forest called Boested Rende where there was a flowing creek that led down to the Northern Sea.
I haven’t visited this forest in nearly ten years and going back there recently, I discovered all the trees had been cut down and what was once a enchanted forest is now empty land and the flowing creek is now filled with plastic garbage and millions of pieces of Styrofoam.
It was here I found my New Years Resolution for 2012; to say no plastic bottles and plastic bags and end this madness. I’d love to encourage all my friends and readers to do the same.
